Paint the board black or white to win by jumping opponent's chips in this board classic.
Game Rules
Overview The game is a turn based two-player game, and each player is represented by a set of pieces, being black
or white. Players take turns in placing one piece at a time. Black player starts the first game, while players take turns in starting
adjacent games.
Initial setup At the beginning of the game four pieces (two being black and two
being white) are placed on the center fields as shown to the right.
Making a move In each move a
piece must be placed on an empty field on the board in such a way to outflank one or more lines of opponent pieces which are captured by
flipping them (making their color the same as the piece just placed on the board). Each line can consist of one or more opponent pieces. The
example at the right shows a situation where black player is about to place a piece at E2. The two yellow lines show the lines of opponent
pieces outflanked by the piece at E2 and at the other end B5 and E5 respectively. All opponent pieces crossed by the yellow lines will be
considered captured and will be flipped as shown in the next scenario.
If a legal move cannot be made, the player has to pass his
turn.
Winning the game The game continues until no player can make a move. The player who has
more pieces present on the board wins the game. If the players have an equal amount of pieces, the game is a draw.
